Hudson Valley Theatrical Consulting is family-owned and operated right here in Kingston, NY. Since our company opened its doors in 2006, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.

"Richard Ralff is a lighting designer I have worked with on three occasions where I was Director and Set Designer. For Winterfest 2010, Richard was able to adapt the simple track lighting at the Kleinert/ James Art Center, Woodstock, in order to highlight our presentation of 3 Radio Plays. He carefully transferred lights from track to track, focused their beams, and restored the site efficiently. The other two productions, Water Engine by David Mamet and Some (L)Ives- (3 One Acts by David Ives), were produced at the Town Hall, Woodstock, also for Performing Arts of Woodstock. Town Hall presents challenges to a lighting designer. The ceiling is low, there is no lighting grid, and the lights are close to the stage. Richard was able to effectively use his limited equipment to create the demanding special effects the plays, and I, called for. Richard is at the top of my list when I consider future productions.
